Pam's father-in-law, Mark Porter, died a week ago so the family gathered here to stay for the funeral. They arrived Friday with the funeral on Saturday. On Sunday, Jeff flew home to Philadelphia, Nat took the kids and spent the afternoon at Columbian Park swimming, and the rest of us went to Wayne's for the annual family fish-fry. We picked up Opal, who was celebrating her 95th birthday that day, and took her with us to the fish-fry. We really had a great time seeing everyone and the day was perfect to spend out under a tent.
The Porter family left this morning for home and will arrive tomorrow. It's easier on the little kiddies when they stop halfway. We had a great time being together and I hated to see them go.

We actually made it all the way home Monday! By 5pm we were only about 4 hours from home and I just couldn't bear to call it quits for the night. So we kept on going and got in around 10:30. Good to be back in our own beds. Thanks for the hospitality!!
You're welcome! Glad for the visit.
