Say Uncle

Good grief! You'd think we were trying to sell our grandchildren! So we won't sell the sailboat at this time. But you three- you have to promise that you'll come home once in awhile to sail her! Scooter will stand guard so as to keep all those Craigslisters off our property. Happier now?

Down on the Farm

I don't know why the flowers at our place are particularly beautiful this year but they're vibrant and oh so colorful. Enjoy God's bounty!

Stuff for Sale

OK family. Remember our pledge to tell family about things for sale before selling them? We've had the sailboat since our Oklahoma days and the two mowers are just sitting in the barn collecting dust. So we dusted them all off and put them on Craigs List Sunday. Had two lookers so far. We more than doubled the price for the John Deere when no one in the family could use it so we're hoping for a good sale. The sailboat will go for no less than $2,000 so don't even ask for a discount. Actually Scooter is not all that excited about selling it so if it doesn't sell, he won't be disappointed.

Wedding

Last weekend Scooter, Mama Jo and I flew to Austin to attend Stephan and Jessica's wedding. It was beautiful. Mama Jo cut quite a rug and had a very good time. Here she is dancing.

The Old Folks are going high tech!

Erin convinced me to try my hand at blogging. I must have lost my mind; it's probably the menopause. Anyway, I'm off and running and will try to post some goodies for the family and interested friends.

You'll be seeing some pictures of Mom mostly with little tid-bits of humor that we experience with her daily. She is a trip, believe me. I do get impatient but with the Lord's help we will come through this and come out on the other side better for our experiences.

So, bear with me until I can get this blogging thing going. Erin assures me I can tackle it.
Blessings!
