We left on Friday to head to Illinois for a short visit with Mark, Lori and C-Bear.
While there, we did some decorating, landscape and maintenance jobs but mostly just enjoyed being together. The base OSC (Officer Spouse Club) sponsored an auction/trivia night so we all attended that and had a good time trying to outguess everyone there. Our table of 9 was decorated in the Nascar motif and was made up of 2 1/2 other couples (one husband was TDY) from Mark's squadron. Of the 20+ tables represented, we came out tying for 2nd place so we didn't embarrass ourselves horribly. Mark had to fly Sunday morning, so Lori, C-Bear, Deke and I met him at a Mexican restaurant after church. We started home around 2:00 and got back to IN just before dark.
